Hello my learned friends of the forum.
How are all you grumpy old bastards doing?

Aaaahh old times hey.

Anyway, I`m helping a mate with his foray into the world of guitar noodling, he`s a beginner. The most useful thing I can think of playing him is that stella(r) show from the mid/late 70`s in which the only instrument you can hear on the first track is Bob`s guitar.

Anyone know what I`m talking about?

Thank you in advance.

Most of the mixing on Europe 72 has Weir panned very hard right, but the boards I've got are not true stereo, there's a lot of bleed. The official release will probably be your bet bet for 72.

The Wall of Sound SBD's seem to be true stereo with good separation, but Garcia is panned left center, so his work won't be eliminated completely.

If I recall correctly Skullfuck and Europe 72 have the boys both hard to each side and probably be the best examples. The China>Rider jam is a great place to start.

Grumpy old bastards?

If you've been reading the past few days worth of trash around here you'd know we've gotten a promotion to "unemployed, bored, ignorant fuckheads".

As to the show, I'm not sure if there is just one in particular, but I will try to come up with a date of one I'm familiar with.
